Praktikum Struktur Kayu dan Bambu Taruna TK II/Sertar Prodi Teknik Sipil Pertahanan TA. 2019

Departemen Nikimin sebagai badan pelaksana Akademi Militer yang mempunyai tugas pokok menyelenggarakan pendidikan,dalam program pendidikan dan latihan bagi Taruna Akmil Tk. II/Sertar Prodi Teknik Sipil Pertahanan diberikan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan yang berkaitan dengan ilmu ketekniksipilan. Berdasarkan kurikulum pendidikanTaruna Akmil Tk. II/Sertar Prodi Teknik Sipil Pertahanan, Depnikmin mendapat alokasi materi pelajaran struktur kayu dan bambu yang diberikan secara teori dan dilanjutkan dengan praktek sesuai dengan jadwal yang ditentukan. Hal tersebut bertujuan Agar Taruna Tk. II/Sertar Prodi Teknik Sipil pertahanan dapat mengaplikasikan praktek Struktur Kayu dan Bambu pada bidang ketekniksipilan yakni bidang konstruksi.

Sasaran yang dicapai dalam praktek laboratorium tersebut adalah agar Taruna dapat mengaplikasikan cara pembuatan Kuda-kuda rangka atap, dapat melaksanakan proses pemasangan sambungan kayu dan bambu, dan dapat melaksanakan proses potongan-potongan sambungan pada kayu dan bambu. Praktikum struktur kayu dan bambu tersebut dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Bengkel Kayu Sekolah Vokasi Teknik Sipil Universitas Gajah Mada Yogyakarta (SV TS UGM).

Praktikum dilaksankaan pada tanggal 4 Maret 2019 dengan aman dan tertib dimulai dari pk. 07.30 s.d 16.00, dengan bekerjasama dengan Dosen dan asisten Dosen dari SV TS UGM. Hasil yang dicapai pada akhir praktikum struktur kayu dan bambu, Taruna dapat melaksanakan pemasangan sambungan, dapat melaksankaan pemotongan sambungan, dan terakhir dapat membuat Kuda-kuda rangka atap. Dengan demikian kegiatan tersebut dikemudian hari dapat menjadi bekal bagi Taruna Teknik Sipil Pertahanan Akmil untuk pelaksanaan lapangan bidang konstruksi.
