Adanya perkembangan revolusi industri yang sudah mengarah ke 5.0, Indonesia harus melakukan penguatan akan penguasaan teknologi pertahanan. Prodi Teknik Sipil Pertahanan Kordos Akademi Militer, dalam rangka menfasilitasi tuntutan keilmuan dan literasi Teknik Sipil Pertahanan khususnya bagi Dosen dan Taruna, menyelenggarakan Seminar dengan tema “SMART DEFENSE BUILDING FOR FUTURE NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT” dengan mendatangkan pakar IT/Cyber dan Konstruksi.

Pada seminar ini selaku Pemateri 1 adalah Prof. Dr. Ir. R. Eko Indrajit, M.Sc., MBA., M.Phil., M.A (Rektor Institut Praditya, Desainer Pussiber Kemhan) berdampingan dengan Kaprodi Teknik Sipil Pertahanan Kolonel Czi Ir. Agus Supriyono, M.T. selaku Pemateri 2 dan Mayor Czi Agung Prapsetyo, S.T., M.Sc. sebagai Moderator. Turut hadir sebagai peserta seminar adalah mahasiswa Teknik Sipil UNTID Magelang, mahasiswa Akademi TIRTA Magelang, mahasiswa Teknik Mesin UMM Magelang, para Taruna Prodi di Akmil dan para Dosen Prodi Akmil yang seluruhnya berjumlah 150 peserta dengan tetap memedomani protokol kesehatan Covid-19. Gubernur Akmil Mayor Jenderal TNI Totok Imam S., S.I.P, S.Sos., M.Tr(Han) menyampaikan dalam amanat pembukaan, dimana pertahanan adalah investasi. Kegiatan Seminar ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan kajian konsep Smart Defense Building yang dapat diimplementasikan kepada sistem pembangunan nasional. Selain itu, dapat memberikan masukan literasi dan pengalaman dari narasumber untuk dikembangkan menjadi penelitian dan karya ilmiah bagi Dosen, insan muda Teknik Sipil dan khususnya Taruna Prodi Teknik Sipil Pertahanan Kordos Akmil dalam menjalankan tugas kedepan.

Selaku Pemateri 1, Prof. Dr. Ir. R. Eko Indrajit, M.Sc., MBA., M.Phil., M.A, memaparkan tentang “Smart Building”, Karakteristik Smart Building dalam sektor pertahanan dan militer hendaknya memiliki Level Security, Command Center, General Logistics System hingga Network and Communication yang terintegrasi, terpadu dan terkendali namun tetap menjaga efektifitas dan efisiensi fungsi bangunan. “A building that provides a productive and cost-effective environment through optimisation of its four basic components – structure, systems, services, and man- agement – and the interrelationships between them“.

Kemudian Kolonel Czi Ir. Agus Supriyono, M.T. selaku Pemateri 2 memaparkan materi tentang “Implementasi Smart Defense Building Dalam Kemampuan Konstruksi Satuan Zeni”. Konsep Smart Defense Building dalam kemampuan konstruksi satuan Zeni merupakan keniscayaan yang harus segera disongsong oleh generasi muda Indonesia, khususnya satuan Zeni AD dalam menghadapi tantangan dan ancaman bangsa di dunia modern saat ini sehingga implementasi Pertahanan adalah Investasi dapat terwujud.

Cairnya suasana seminar yang dibawakan oleh moderator berindikasi pada respon peserta yang ditunjukkan dalam seminar sangat baik. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan kuantitas pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang cukup berkualitas karena tingginya minat dalam menerima materi yang dipaparkan oleh pemateri yang sudah berpengalaman dibidangnya masing-masing. Seluruhnya dapat dijawab secara tuntas oleh kedua Pemateri melalui sistim 2 arah sehingga makin memperkaya wawasan dan pengetahuan dari masing-masing peserta.

Mewakili Gubernur Akmil, acara seminar ditutup oleh Brigader Jenderal TNI Wahyu Wibowo Raharjo, M.A. selaku Kepala Koordinator Dosen Akmil dan beliau berharap hasil yang diperoleh dalam seminar ini dapat membuka cakrawala wawasan, ide kreatif dan sudut pandang pemikiran sebagai langkah awal untuk dikembangkan dalam pembangunan nasional guna mewujudkan Smart Defense Building For Future National Development.
